Twistle, a startup in the clinical automation space, is hiring a remote data scientist (docx alert!). You'll be employing your skills in creating automated treatment plans and patient care.

Preferred qualifications
• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong background in Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision.
• Strong background in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science and Statistics.

StatMuse, Inc is hiring a remote data scientist to focus on areas of natural language processing. The company recently raised a Series A of funding and allows, "fans to search, share and discover sports using natural language". Requirements are:

  • Experience using applied statistics or machine learning in a professional or other intensive problem-solving environment with large, complex datasets
  • Expertise in statistical packages such as R or the Python scientific stack (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, pandas)
  • Expertise with core NLP techniques and tasks

Entropix Is Hiring a Remote Computational Imaging Scientist

The startup Entropix, Inc is looking to hire a remote computational imaging scientist. It's somewhat unclear about the actual requirements of the position, but the company is claiming to be working on "ground-breaking applications of computational imaging involving High Performance Computing on NVIDIA GPUs". Seems applicable to numerical computing and data science-types.

Requirements include:
Familiarity with deep learning and convolutional neural networks, and the related open source frameworks, such as Caffe, Theano, TensorFlow. Experience with OpenCV.
